De hoogste concentratie van wilde dieren buiten de Serengeti
Tarangire National Park is een leuk en makkelijk park om te ontdekken. Er zijn volop wilde dieren aanwezig die makkelijk te zien zijn vanwege het open karakter van het landschap. Dit geeft u de mogelijkheid om van de natuur van zowel dichtbij als over grotere afstand te genieten. Der Park ist nur 2 Autostunden von Arusha entfernt und in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Lake Manyara. Het is 2850 vierkante kilometer groot en is daarmee het zesde grootste park van Tanzania en biedt de hoogste concentratie aan wilde dieren buiten de Serengeti. Tarangire staat bekend om haar kuddes olifanten welke van dichtbij bewonderd kunnen worden. Andere dieren die waarschijnlijk in heel Tarangire te zien zijn, zijn; gnoes, zebra's, buffels, gazellen, wrattenzwijnen, impala's, pythons, leeuwen, luipaarden en meer dan 50 soorten vogels.
