A real treat awaits you today - a mid morning flight over Serengeti all the way to Lake Natron. Enjoy the spectacular views over the vast planes, while you'll hopefully see herds of elephants or giraffes from above. The Lake Natron area is situated at the lowest point of the Rift Valley, which makes it a dry and hot area, quite special! Due to the high amount of alkaline inside the lake, there are only a few predators who are able to survive here. Therefore it is a safe ground for the flamingo's to brood annually. After arriving in Natron you’ll go on a drive to explore the volcanic surroundings. End your day by gazing at the stars before retiring to your comfortable bed in Africa Safari Lake Natron

The drive can take up to 4 hours and it's the perfect way to see different sides of Tanzania’s changing landscape. The arid scenery will be slowly exchanged for the lusher and greener surroundings of the Rift Valley. An intriguing visit has been planned as you will go to a Maasai Boma - a traditional boma consists of a variety of “houses” which are small huts made of mud and cow dung.
