Lake Duluti is a volcanic crater lake in the Arusha region of Tanzania, on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley. It is located in Meru District near the town of Tengeru. This tour can be done in the morning or afternoon, to enjoy a walk under the Lake Duluti forest canopy. You will have beautiful moments to view both the forest and the birds (130 species). The ranger from Duluti Forest Reserve will assist you in identifying all the birds, reptiles and flora.
Glide across the smooth surface of this small Crater Lake and view birdlife seldom seen; Giant kingfisher, Fish eagle, Darters and many more. Surrounded by forested crater walls this is a very special and quiet 1,5-hour canoeing experience. View hundreds of cattle egrets returning to an island in the lake to roost for the night.
