Flamingo Lake Walk – Walking from the camp

Flamingo-Lake-Walk

Lake Natron in the Rift Valley is the preferred mating ground of the endangered Lesser flamingo. This guided walk departs from the camp. Natron flamingos normally lay their eggs at the end of the dry season in September and October, and hatching reaches its peak in December. It is an amazing sight when the grey chicks are strong enough to be led to fresh water by their parents.
